SUPPORT YOUR TRAINING, SUPPORT YOUR HEALTH*

Vita JYM is an exclusive multivitamin and multi-mineral supplement formulated to provide the micronutrients hard-training athletes need in the amounts they need to help support performance, growth, and overall well-being.*

Many multivitamins are built on under-dosed blends of random micronutrients, and some may even include ingredients that hinder the absorption of others. Vita JYM contains a specific blend of synergistic micronutrients to deliver and help you absorb critical vitamins and minerals in the amounts and forms you need.*

THE SCIENCE OF VITA JYM

Research suggests that athletes and those who exercise intensely lose many critical vitamins and minerals from training, particularly B vitamins, vitamin C, chromium, selenium, iron, and copper. This is due to a variety of factors, including the loss of minerals in sweat and urine, their increased use for energy production during workouts, and their increased use for recovery and protein synthesis after workouts.

Therefore, it’s critical that you get far more than the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) or Daily Value (DV) for certain vitamins and minerals to help maximize results.* Vita JYM was formulated to deliver these optimal micronutrient amounts.

ADDITION BY SUBTRACTION

Many multivitamins sold today include minerals that you don’t want in a multi – namely, zinc, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. These minerals can inhibit the uptake of important nutrients, like amino acids, as well as other critical minerals.

Zinc may affect the uptake of amino acids, thus possibly inhibiting muscle size and strength gains. Zinc may also affect copper and zinc absorption. Calcium, found in a vast majority of multivitamins, may interfere with iron and manganese absorption. Magnesium, also common in multivitamins, may interfere with manganese and calcium absorption. As for phosphorus, you don’t want too much of it, and the typical American diet is already rich in this mineral. Too much phosphorus in the body can inhibit vitamin D’s effectiveness, having negative consequences on bone health and even testosterone levels.

Vita JYM intentionally leaves out zinc, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. The first three should be taken at other times of day, which is why two particular JYM products contain them – calcium in Pro JYM, and zinc and magnesium in ZMA® JYM.

NO “MIA” MICROS

While some multivitamins include minerals they shouldn’t, they may also completely lack or under-serve other critical micronutrients. Not only are these multis under-dosed for the hard-training individual, they often aren’t even adequately loaded for the average couch potato.

Such “missing in action” vitamins and minerals include:

Vitamin K, which may help with heart health, support healthy brain function, support skin health, and promote healthy testosterone production.*

Iodine, which is critical for maintaining healthy thyroid function.*

Chromium, which may support fat loss, heart health, and healthy sugar levels.* Chromium is better utilized as part of a multivitamin because its uptake is enhanced when taken with vitamin C.

Other micronutrients that are critical for results and better overall health, yet often under-supplied in multis, include copper, B vitamins, selenium, molybdenum, and manganese.

Vita JYM delivers adequate amounts of all of the above MIA micronutrients.

MICRONUTRIENTS IN PROPER FORM

Bad form isn’t just something you see in the gym; it’s also commonly seen on supplement labels. A major issue with some multis is that they use cheap or, ineffective, forms of certain vitamins and minerals.

Vita JYM, on the other hand, provides micronutrients in effective forms, highlighted by vitamin A as beta-carotene; vitamin K2 in menaquinone-4 (MK-4) and menaqionone-7 (MK-7); and chromium as chromium picolinate.

REAL SCIENCE, FULL TRANSPARENCY

Like every one of my JYM Supplement Science products, Vita JYM is a non-proprietary supplement that uses the proper amounts of each ingredient and lists it clearly in the supplement facts panel.
